Our High Quality Paint Process
We take enormous pride in the quality of our products. One area that makes our medal displays stand out from the rest is our choice of paint. Not only the paint but the process.
At Proline we use a process called powder coating. This type of coating is applied electro statically and then cured in a high temp oven to create a skin. This hard finish is tougher than conventional paint and ensures a beautiful finish that is more durable than other options.
After finishing our laser cutting and forming process, our medal displays are ready to be hung on automated lines that take them through the paint booth. They are then sprayed with powder via an electro static gun.
Powder Coating Advantages over Liquid Paint:
- No Toxic Compounds
- Single Coat Coverage
- Ability To Reclaim and Reuse Overspray
- No Hazardous Waste
- Harder, More Durable Finish
- More Consistent Coverage and Less Runs
After paint they get a trip through the high temp oven to cure the paint and create a uniform, beautiful and durable finish. Temps in the oven reach up to 400 F and work quickly to cure and bake the powder on the parts to perform a protective shell around your medal holder or trophy shelf.
The finished product is something we take great pride in and something you will be happy to display on your wall. Our attention to detail does not stop when it comes off the paint line. We carefully package every item we send out and inspect every order to make sure it meets our standards.
Our goal is to provide a high quality American made product and customer service to match.
Thanks for trusting us to hang your hard earned medals!
